room?

We have merely moved into a new apt and are have to replace all of our furniture. My husbands coworker is giving away a sort of new bunk bed and I would close to to get it for my daughter and surprise her next to it. My idea is to brand the top bunk a drawing and lounging space for her. I would replace the mattress with mat samples and beautify the walls around the top with see-through pillow mats I am planning to bring in. I was trying to reason of a way to variety it more private for her and thought maybe curtain rods near short curtains to go around the accessible space, and make pillows to throw around inside.

What colors do you meditate would be good, she is into things similar to Neopets, but I want to make her something that will pertain for more than a year. She is 10.
Answers:    That is such a cool idea for the bunk bed! You can buy "bed netting" that hang over the bed and surrounds it with a sheer stuff (it is also called a teaster) at most stores that get rid of bedding and home decor. They attach to the ceiling with a simple hook and hang up down. You can also make you own teaster out of anything fabric you resembling and a light consignment piece of wood(cover the wood with the material and staple the lenght of the the fabric around the board to create a curtain...kinda close to having a table cloth over a table and have it suspended from the ceiling instead of using legs.)

Look in your daughter's closet to see what colors she like as far as clothing. I would recommend NOT going with a set matter though! Get coordinating items that aren't' too "matchy" so she can change the decor as she grows. Simple items approaching lamps, pillows and throws are really graceful, inexpensive ways to change the look of a room as she grows.

When we did our oldest daughters room (she too be about 10 at the time,)we painted the walls a surrounding substance violet and the trim is also lilac, but so pale it almost looks white. we did this surrounded by our youngest daugthers room too only next to pinks. The bedding has changed over the ultimate couple years as she has gotten elder. We started out with a purple and pink floral print and she has changed to more dramatic (adult) bedding next to with some of like peas in a pod colors, just more fully grown. It has be very undemanding for her to "make it her own room" as she have gotten older. Not self too matchy really helped!

Have fun!!
Why not flip the thought? Make the top the bed and then she could use the bottom as a couch? Or tent that space bad with curtains? Good luck!
