i want to put down new clay tile on mt floor, but do not want to take up the antediluvian tile...can i put tile on top of tile? and how would i do it? Is at hand a piticular type of sealant?
Answers: well it is probably better to a short time ago take up the ancient tile but yes it is possible to lay more tile on top of elderly.....if u put thin set mortar and durock down next u have to screw that down .....which will aim that u will have ur tile at a high height and u will want a bigger threshold...now ur problem will b if u can screw through the hoary tile....if u can make sure to screw it every six inches adjectives around....regardless if u do or dont take up the behind the times tile u will have to lay durock or some benevolent of subflooring....well i hope this is of some minister to....laters
