Can self-stick laminate flooring be laid over old-fashioned laminate flooring? We're laying a unusual floor in our bathroom and I be wondering...

We're laying a unusual floor in our bathroom and I be wondering if we can lay the new self-stick laminate over the frail laminate flooring that's in in that or if the old flooring should be torn up and the contemporary flooring laid on top of the wood floor. Thanks!

My living room is overt to the kitchen....
There is no such entry as self stick laminate flooring. These are floating floors that lock together with a tongue and groove system. But yes you can install a exotic floor over the old one but craft sure you use the foam insulator underneath.
