The color I got to paint my room is simply slightly too dark. I want to mix surrounded by a bottle of white acrylic craft paint.

Would that work?
Would the color be lighter, and would it look OK when on the walls?
I'm nearly to take laminate flooring near grooves...
Answers:    Mixing paint is funny. One little bottle probably won't make a difference. You'll probably termination up with something you really don't similar to. Look at the colors they used to give you that color, usually on the top of can. Your dais was probably not white. Take it support to the dealer and own them lighten it up. Good luck!

Yes you can, the paint will be fine, but it might give somebody a lift an awful lot of white to lighten the colour, especially if the colour you are lightening is not a gloomy one. One of the small bottles of craft paint might have no noticeable effect at all within a gallon of another colour. It would probably be cheaper to buy a quart of white wall paint and use that. Mix very ably.
