No. Shingles are generally suitable lone on roofs sloped 4-in-12 or greater. For lower slopes you have other choices. Asphalt rolled roofing can be used on roofs sloped down to 1-in-12, according to a guide I checked published by the Natiional Roofing Contractors Association, but their installation method must be followed exactly.
Another leeway for low slope roofs is EPDM. It's sometimes called rubber roofing because it comes surrounded by large rubbery sheets. If the installation is done warily this material will carry out very resourcefully. Some residential roofers aren't familiar near it but EPDM is widely used on commercial projects, so you may have to hire a commercial roof company to install it. You will be creating a disaster waiting to come about. This is too low of a pitch even on your house. 3/12 is the least slope that most roofers will install shingles on. Especially if in that are any valleys.
It simply won't permit water run stale toward the lower edge summarily enough,what afterwards happens is the hose starts going sideways as well and get under shingles and pools up within.
Shingles are designed to shed water past its sell-by date of a roof - they don't make a honourable pool liner.
You may need a epdm (rubber membrane) roof, or another possession is TPO. These are more expensive but will work.
If you are in a snow nouns, that 1x12 porch roof will be gone at the first wet 8" + snowstorm you enjoy.
Answers: beside a pitch that low you would be better off next to rolled roofing. and are you sure about the pitch, the house pitch seem awful low also. does it have standard shingles?
