Can I dye 100% polyester next to spine dye? I keep seeing articles saying that you can't dye polyester minus an...

I keep seeing articles saying that you can't dye polyester minus an expensive specialty dye, and even more articles about hair dye staining polyester. Has anyone ever tried to dye 100% polyester textile with hair dye? I know that seem like a dumb question, but I'd close to to dye a polyester shower curtain and I don't want to have to order expensive dye to do it.

Answers:    I own never used hair dye on any kind of material, but I think that you might have to use reasonably a bit of it.
You might try some RIT fabric dye. You can get it at Wal-Mart, and it is lone a couple of dollars. It is usually with all of the detergents, and household cleaning supplies.
You might hold to use two or three packages to get the right color, but I have used it on polyester back.
Please counsel, which bedroom wall color suits next...
I have splattered a polyester shirt with coat dye, and i washed it and it was gone. Sorry to communicate you that you are probably going to have to buy the expensive dye, or just purchase fresh curtains! Best of luck on your project!
