Can decorate designs from around world work together? I'm decorating my new-ish place and am running into some problems....

I'm decorating my new-ish place and am running into some problems. I love asian design-the fabric and accessories are really dazzling, although I don't like the spare-ness of the design. I also really love the bright colors and pattern of Indian designs. Because they are quite different, can I hold both? How can I put the two together? Does anyone have any upright 'net examples? Thanks!
Answers:    Absolutely, as long as you stay true to your deliberately difficult area. Troublesome will be the distinctly variant designs, putting Asia and India together, but your luck come from both cultures' dominant colors. Sounds resembling you've discovered this already.

Put your spare Asian designs, in throw pillows for instance, alternating beside those busier, from India. Keep your drapes a solid neutral, near luck, a common indeterminate taken from both. Use a lot of flotilla or black here and there.

Net examples, try West Elm for standard inspiration and extravagant antiques layouts. Can't try Pier One. They've gone offline.
I don't have any 'net pictures to refer you to, but I believe that the 2 styles that you mentioned can work well together. The spareness and verbs lines of traditional asian decor help be a foil for how busy Indian patterns can be. I deem that you could easily pick up asian-inspired furniture and dress them up beside the colors and patterns of India.
