Answers:    Depending on the depth of the score, it can be easy or may clutch a bit of work.

We recently have granite counter tops installed in our master tub. One of the pieces had to own one edge ground surrounded by order for it to fit. The exposed portion be re-polished by the installer using a series of wet grinding wheel. He was competent to do this outside the house because the water make it messy.

I'm sure the same piece could be done in your house but it would be a bit messy.

If you enjoy a chip or a deep score, it probably can be fixed using a clear expoxy as a filler and the it can be leveled and polished just resembling the granite.
