are here anyway to replace that or cover it with any charitable of material in need major cunstruction??
Answers:    Unless you hold a maple butcher block counter top, most counter tops with any type of laminate (formica), is manufactured beside particle board core matter, with the formica glue atop the particle board. Short of replacing the entire counter top, formica cannot be effectively repaired. Paint over the disfavour will not last, as most paints will not hug to formica for long. If it is a wooden butcherblock counter top, you can sand the area, to remove the burned areas, but that will set off a "wallow" that will stand out worse that the burn. No matter what, subsequent time you attempt to solder anything on a counter top, protect it!
I don't know what material the top is made of but sounds resembling formica. Depending on the color, you can get some appliance touch up paint to touch it up. It will masquerade the area but won't procure rid of it totally.
