Broken earthenware tile removal press? Got some really messed up tiles from a remodel gone partly unpromising....

Got some really messed up tiles from a remodel gone partly unpromising. The tile is around the bathtub and have metal mesh in it holding it together. Is in attendance an easy instrument (or any way) to remove this so we can put up some drywall???
Answers:    you cannot put up drywall you need to use the water-mess board similar to the ones that is the wall. drywall will produce mold and mildew to build up.
I am assuming you would like to remove the entire wall of earthenware tile and not just one piece. If i.e. indeed the case, the easiest approach is probably just to use a tack hammer and a chisel to remove it ... in other words smash the tile and remove it. That is unsurprisingly if you want to replace the greenboard behind the tile and start fresh, which is your best pick. Be sure to wear protection goggles and gloves, long sleeves and such so you don't get cut by flying pieces. BE sure to cover the drain to save debris from clogging it up. If I be doing this job I would cover the tile next to a towel and then smash it. Make sure you use greenboard (more of a wet barrier to protect against mold) and not basically drywall since it is in a bathroom. Good Luck!
