I love the black/grey slate tile effect and am thinking about doing my entire bathroom surrounded by it (i.e. floor AND walls) but wonder whether it might make it too unlit.

The room is pretty small (2.2x1.8m) and does not have a skylight. However, as my flat is a new build the rest of the house is extraordinarily bight and airy.

The bathroom has a mainstay light at the mo but maybe spotlights might make the black fit a bit better...?

Does anyone enjoy any thoughts or, even better, some photos or links to example bathrooms in this style?

Many gratefulness
Laura
Answers:    I know the attraction you find in that colour for th etiles but to do walls and floor adjectives in such a shady tile is definitely goign to bring in a small bathroom feel closed surrounded by. I have a technically large hip bath with seriously of lighting and went near a blackish floor tile and light gray wall tile. In my bathroom it works great but at times still seem a bit dark minus enough lights on.

FYI, for lighting we go with 2 mini pot lights contained by the shower, 2 over the tub and 2 above the toilet plus a multi-bulb wall fixture over the vanity. Each is separately controlled to not squander a lot of electricity lighting an nouns not in use.
