I have a painted wooden floor cabinet. It desperately wants to be refinished - the white paint is chipping and is very aged and dirty. I would love to strip it and repaint it. What it the best way to stir about doing this, living contained by a small apartment. I can't bring it outside (I live in a elevated rise, in a big city) I also don't own any sanders or power tools. And what mode of paint should I use??

Answers:    There are some great water base gloss paints to do the paint commission, but stripping may be a problem unless you can open some window to get drying. If you can get a waterbased stripper, that would be best. Hand sand after removing the old paint would work. You will stipulation some sort of scraper to remove the stripper and paint.

to strip it you need to be surrounded by a well ventialted nouns. Do you have a deck? Or possibly you can open adjectives your windows. Be sure you enjoy plenty of air flow. You can sand next to a hand sander it looks resembling a block. you shouldn't need power tools.
