Best paint for metal cabinet? I'm renting a house and the landlord is allowing me to paint....
I'm renting a house and the landlord is allowing me to paint. There are some ancient metal cabinet in the kitchen that are straight out of the 60's. I'd approaching to paint them, but not sure what kind of paint I requirement to buy. Obviously I'd like it to be as cheap as possible, considering I'm renting the place. I don't know what type of metal they are, but they are painted already and appear to enjoy some sort of enamel finish. Do I need to sand them until that time painting?
Answers: Krylon have a spray paint. But your best option is to weakly sand, coat with Kilz, afterwards coat of enamel (lightly sand, final coat of enamel.
I would sand them, wipe with denatured alchohol and paint near Rustolum Spray paint.
