I'm repainting a bathroom from an apricot color (think thousand island dressing) to something green (don't have the color picked out yet).
What's the best opening to ensure that I completely cover the apricot and only see green? Do I find a special mix paint? Do I put something on under the tentative paint layer?
I'm also fine art the ceiling white (it's apricot as well, if you can believe it). Do I do anything different for that?
Thanks within advance for your give a hand!!!
Answers: Clean your walls with TSP and tint your KILZ2 primer(it will be lighter) the color of what you are fine art the main color. Then draw from a bathroom paint to use for your wall color. They sell it adjectives at Walmart. Bathroom paint is made especially for the humidity in your bathroom.
Kilz is my favorite primer. We a armada blue room we wanted to paint street lamp yellow. It took two coats of Kilz but that blue is out of our lives!
