Besides "Energystar" What features drew you to buy your dishwasher...?
How do you select a model of dishwasher? They have sooo oodles...
We have a Sears store and a Lowes store and Walmart... adjectives who sell dishwashers. We also enjoy a Rex and a new home promotion place.
So I have deeply of places to consider.
But how do you choose machine features?
I'm trying to stay lower than $500. Way under if I can. I want to know what features are important.
We just have TWO relations in our house so sizeable capacity is not needed. We don't used large pan and cook big meals. My refrigerator is a Fridgadare. I thought I might stick near that. But I'm never going to sell the house so it's not resembling it's hugely important that the brands be equal.
How did you pick out your dishwasher?
ENERGY STAR is the "easy" answer. I want to know what FEATURES are important below MY circumstances...
Answers: * a row of tines that lay flat so I can fit in extra substantial pots
* a sprayer on the top, middle & bottom. the one that came next to the house was an el-cheapo next to the sprayer only on the bottom & it never get the dished on top clean
* a top rack that lowers so that I can fit my taller wine goggles
I didn't get one, but a "grinder" is also a nice piece so that you don't have to rinse adjectives the food off beforehand you put them in
I chose a Kenmore from Sears. I have first picked out a GE, but it was out of stock surrounded by the black, & the Kenmore had similar features.
NOISE! Look for the quietist dishwasher you can find. You will be joyful you did. I don't know how expensive they are, but since you don't wash too tons dishes you may want to look at the drawer models as well. They are drawers that mop up dishes. You can buy one and if you find that your dish loads are increasing, then you can buy another one and stack it on top or below the first one. Just a thought, but really maintain the noise factor into your ruling.
