Okay, so I'm going to redo my room this summer for a couple of reasons.

*My toes touch the finish off of my bed Lol!

*The color on the walls (A lime green my brother picked out when it was his room) hurts my eyes and is just plain bizarre.

*Most of the decor is from like 4 years ago when we switched rooms.

*The color of the carpet within the room is a disgusting brown color that was there when we moved into the house.

So as you can see, a complete renovation is contained by order. But the problem is, I don't know what to do. I was thinking of form of a beach house (not tropical, more like the Outer Banks) subject matter, but I love music and I want to be able to express that to. How can I mix music, beach and a short time ago girliness together and not make it look like a platypus?

Also, my budget is pretty small. I can't really affored furniture from Pottery Barn or stuff close to that.

Please Help Me! My bedroom is a disaster!

P.S. - I'm 13 years old, but my style is pretty sofisticated.
play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you similar to. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I resembling that you can search by color family & color describe, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I suppose the color "chop sticks" (# 7575) would be a great start to your beach house style bedroom.

go to ratemyspace.com/hgtv I look though other peoples rooms to win ideas Go with a 'beachy' color close to a light sea blue on the walls and a sand color mat or a nice wood floor. Just make sure to prime the walls otherwise the green will show through. This is a perfect time of year to find furniture. Check out the outdoor furniture for table and chairs (you can always buy a part of the set not adjectives of it. Try wicker furnishing in a white to stand out against the wall and breed it more of a girls room. Try some silk beach grass in containers around the room to relieve it feel outdoors like.l Go near light and airy curtains to help near that effect. They even make wicker ceiling fan now and lampshades as well. Just remember to enjoy fun and make it your own.
Answers:    Well, my first bit of advice is not to shift too crazy on the themed room bit. You will get tired of your room alot faster then if you purely use colors to express yourself (in other words, its probably not a good idea togo flaccid surf boards or records from your ceiling ; )). Second, new furniture make any room look better, and it doesnt have to be expensive pottery barn brand. check out www.ikea.com, or go to an ikea store if in attendance is one near you. they are cheap, but you couldnt tell by looking at their merch. as for combining shoreline with music, just splash some apt color on the wall and jam out to your favorite band or radio station. you dont own to see music to enjoy it!
