Answers:    I think you can catch a whole spanking new look for your room by getting a new look for your room's focal point. In a bedroom this will be the bed.

New bedding is other nice.... but if you want something cheaper, find yourself a nice piece of fabric and create a focal point by flaccid it at the head of the bed. You can do this confidently by stitching, gluing or stapling a tube-like loop contained by the top of the fabric (depending on your creative skills) and using a wicker, or other long pole to hang your investigational wall hanging beside.

It will be the new focus of your room, and will be the first item you see when you look into your room - so make sure you choose a gorgeous piece of material!
