Okay.. 3rd times the charm right??? I hope so. I am going to paint my room WOOT!. New furniture, new paint, foreign theme, brand new style.Colors are bright pink and bright orange. Custom blanket curtains and throw for my chair. My furniture is my bed, lapse table, mushroom chair, and tv stand. Any design concept, color of paint, decor, picture frame colors, commments anything?? My room is very crappy. Pink is on PARTS of the ceiling piece of the popcorn is scraped off, requests trim work, nail wholes and a broken cealer between drywall corners. I enjoy a lot of work to do and we are doing it the week of Christmas. Joy Joy. I am getting one of the striped neon colored multi colored striped rugs from walmart. What paint is best. I'm going to use Kilz primer to cover my current walls. Then do a cealer, later my stripes and circles. Thanks Sophi
Answers: I think Kilz primer is marine based so stick near water base paint to do your circles and stripes. The clean up is much easier. Paint your frames next to the same ginger and pink as your designs. If you paint the frame orange, matte the photo within pink or the other way around bringing both colors together contained by the picture. I used a water base paint for frames and it has last very ably. The room idea sounds great and I hope you bring back lots of really neat concept to chose from to make your room idyllic. Good luck.
