HELP!
Answers:    You're going to have to take the spare wallpaper and the glue off of the walls. Once explicitly done, you will need to apply plaster to the peeling drywall, hang about 24 hours, sand it, prime it and then you will be able to paint.
if removing the skin and stick tiles took off the top layer of drywall and the gypsum (the chalky white substance lower than the paper coating) is showing, then the best piece to do would be to cut out the drywall and replace it with new. you'll play hell plastering or re-mudding the drywall. a licensed drywall contractor isn't enormously expensive. i recommend calling them and having them replace your drywall. please don't put peel and stick tiles put money on on the wall. i find it odd that they were on the wall surrounded by the first place. good luck.
