Bathroom Pics near Yellow Tub? Hi folks, I've got a 70's mustard yellow tub (and toilet and sink)....

I've got a 70's mustard yellow tub (and toilet and sink). I'm about to redo the bathroom. I be going to refinish the tub and replace the toilet and sink, but before I do I was wondering if anyone know of a site with pics of a nice bathroom that has a ashen tub. I want to see if I can make it work.

I plan to replace (possibly tile) the shower surround, tile the floor, paint the walls, and replace the vanity. Also possibly replace the toilet and sink. So, the design development is open. But I need pics to see what I approaching.

The rest of the house is very calming, New England, and classic. It's a 1910 New England Colonial. I would want to hold on to with this design scheme (and don't want to introduce a 70's retro scheme).

Answers:    i did a opportunity last year for an elderly couple who had the ashen tub and toilet. we used a beige-ish tile with a deco band and 4 corner shelves. the floor be tiled with a 16x16 white toned tile. the woman decorated with shadows maroon and blue striped shower curtain and window curtain and some pictures of flowers within the same line of colors. i enjoy a couple pictures of the tiled tub but need your email address to distribute them. mine is eienmomo(a)yahoo.com. they don't show all of the tub or shower curtain, but it might give you an theory of what an updated version of the yellow tub looks approaching. put HomeABC.net in the subject row if you decide to email. thank you.

I have indistinguishable issue you do; a god-aweful 70's yellow bathroom. Unfortuantely, in my house they took it even further and put up washed out tiles in the shower, a yellow toilet, a pallid sink, and yellow 1 inch floor tiles. And then the previous owners put up sickly wallpaper. Your best bet is to either reglaze the tub so it is no longer the hideous mustard yellow, that someone must own been on drugs to think looked well brought-up, or just take the entire entry out and put in a new tub.
