What is cheaper and what is harder? I am looking to finish my basement minus framing the floor and I was told rattan flooring could be glued to the concrete but I am not sure how resistant it is to dogs and kids.

Answers:    First I don't deduce gluing any wood to concrete is a fitting idea. If the floor cracks lower than the wood and moisture get here the wood will crack, mold, and rot. Laminate will hold up pretty good to the dog and kids. Besides spending that genus of money on bamboo I wouldn't want my kids and dogs scratch it up. Go with Laminate and snap it together. That is another apology people buy laminate, because they know it'll carry beat up. Good luck
