In in Canada, want to rehash counter, floors, ( which I will do myself ) and sink?
There isn't an accurate average, since kitchens oscillate so widely in size and materials. Rather than ask what most cost, my counsel is to consider what works for your home and your pocketbook. U.S. real estate agents recommend spending between 10 and 25% of your home's current resale appeal on a remodel. You may be able to hide away considerably by applying your own labor and put some of those savings into higher-quality materials. Again, respectively kitchen and client is unique; you requirement to go beside what works for your situation. Here are a couple of tips:

if you want a budget figure, I usually recommend $25K to $35K for a nice kitchen reno.
Now, at hand are products and cabinets on the flea market that are ...well....let's voice, economical. The kitchen cabinetry I use is all custom fitted. you can walk with a formica counter top, which os relatively inexpensive. As you move up to Granite, Marble, etc., the cost also rises.
Set your budget up to first cover you cabinetry. Next plan out your appliances. it's undemanding to match paint colors, once you enjoy decided on cabinet finishes, countertop colors, and appliance color, if any.
Wiring is also an issue. it will cost around $3K to $4K for electrical system, depending on how sophisticated you get.
Cabinets= $15K to $20K
Appliances = $ 4K to $4.5K
Electrical and Plumbing = $6K -$8K
Flooring = $3k to $4k
Painting = $1.5K to $2.5K
Light fixtures = $1.5K to $2.5K
Now, figure out, these are not quoted figures, these are only rough budget figures. The fancier you carry, the more it costs.
Time wise, it take about two to three weeks to do a modestly priced simple kitchen. The more elements you give, the longer it may take.
I've worked on a kitchen that took three moths, and cost over $125,000.oo!!!! it happen quickly, so plan your kitchen right down to the smallest detail, including wood trim, cieling texture, wall prep and repairs, the unbroken enchallada!!
I relaize you wish to do most or adjectives of the work yourself. This will definitely put aside you a ton of cash! I would still ring up in the professionals when it comes to lighting, electric wiring, and plumbing, but if you are really handy, and know what you're doing, GO FOR IT!!!
Even though you are planning to do the work yourself, I would still allow at least $25K a moment ago to cover cabinet costs, and unforseen expenses that always appear on renos of this Type.
Good Luck! I'm here to help you surrounded by any way I can, if you call for it!!
This is the ONE area of the home that will gross or break the return on investment when you sell the house!!
