Answers: I believe they are double coated and they shed close to crazy. But they are wonderful pets. I have have two over the years and loved having them. They are hugely loyal but a bit hyper at times. That can be controlled.
They're double-coated, with the outer coat mortal silky. The inner coat is for insulation. And yes, they shed, so it's no good for family with pet allergies.
