Aprox. cost of wallpaper removal and retexurizing? I am wanting to look into removing wallpaper in our kitchen...

I am wanting to look into removing wallpaper in our kitchen and master bathroom and have the walls texurized and painted to match the rest of the house. Any philosophy on aprox. how much this might cost me?

Answers:    Suggest you remove the paper yourself; save $. The TV shows do this and it can be hard or trouble-free; it depends if it was put up the correct means of access or not. If it wasn't, score and spray near mix of water and yard goods softner, then shaving; any damage to the sheetrock can be repaired by the personality who texturizes for you. If it was put on correctly, you may lately be able to start from a seam and crust. If it's vinyl, strip away the plastic coating, then spray beside the mixture noted above. To me, it doesn't matter what the cost is, it's worth it as you want the rooms to look different. Get an estimate for adjectives of the work or part of the work (don't agree to it be an hourly basis but by the job) and want if you want to do some of the work yourself. You may have to reclaim to pay for it but won't you love it?
