I live in an apartment, I've be here for 2 years, and I want to paint the walls, I'm allowed to do this?

Answers:    Talk to the landlord for sure. I'm sure they wont mind you drawing the walls if you get it approved first and you plan on staying a while. But brand sure you ask first, there can be alot of issues if you alter anything contained by an apartment with out approval.
Reupholster bureau bench?
Gotta ask the landord. They may allow you to paint surrounded by "approved colors" or only allow you to paint if you paint it rear to the origional when you are ready to move out.
