Any conception where on earth I can take a retro, american-style (smeg-style!) undercounter fridge and freezer? I'm looking for a fridge and freezer in the retro, american 'smeg'...

I'm looking for a fridge and freezer in the retro, american 'smeg' style, but in need the 'smeg' price tag! They are around lb600 respectively for the under-counter size, but am hopefully looking to pay around lb300. I can't find anyone else who make them! Just to clarify, they need to fit below the worktop, not be the full size, stand alone fridge freezers. Many thanks!

Answers:    I love the look of the dated Smeg fridges. The trouble is, in America they don't use under-counter little fridges within kitchens so I doubt Smeg make them (although I could be wrong). The small British fridges we use they would christen Beer fridges.

not quite sure your plan of "smeg", never heard of it... but, you can check out Ikea... www.ikea.com... they enjoy all sorts of inexpensive retro stuff
