I will be redecorating my bedroom soon and would like it to look slightly sixties.
I have some ideas such as Andy Warhol style painting and some sixties lifestyle decorations (such as the Mod target). I also own a turntable which suits the theme. I have a sofa-style bed near a chair that can be rolled out like a bed underneath at the bottom and a bed on top. My wardrobe is pink and an unusual shape (rather than individual completely straight it curves out towards the bottom).
Does anyone have any other ideas, such as colours? I know black and white be quite popular but I am hoping for a colourful bedroom. Any creative ideas are warmth! If possible, try not to give me ideas that will be intricate to change in the event that I apply it to my room and find I'd prefer to remove it.
Thanks. :-)
purple and orange are 2 other colours and also shaggy fur cousins checks and circles are the shapes of the time How about trying peace sign wallpaper.

Answers: Stick Cilla Black contained by the corner.
The 60's be "my" era, and black & white was NOT popular (no one ever wore that - except, maybe, our parents) ...Hot pink, lime green, bright wan & orange (think NEON colors) . How about YELLOW or PINK next to thin lime GREEN vertical pinstripes? The vertical stripes will make the ceiling seem to be taller & more spacious. You could just paint the walls yellow, though, and use some sticky green cartridge for the stripes (which you could always remove later) ... If you don't want to paint your walls, you could get some "Wallies" or other bright, colorful FLOWER decals, and dissolve a few around the walls, concentrating more at the upper corners. Hang some long beads over your doorways ... Lots of bright, colorful flowers everywhere ... Stacks of pillows on the floor (to sit on) or beanbag chairs ...
