Antiquing a mirror? For my school project I want to own a small hand mirror...

For my school project I want to own a small hand mirror as a prop within a play... and well I want it to look mature. I found some ways to antique a mirror, but I don't want to spend a ton of money and it doesn't have to look really nice... I basically want it too look old satisfactory. Would lemon juice or something work? xD

Anyway, any relieve is appreciated!
I want a cheep solution to cover up...
Answers:    do you have any paint around the house? smear some brown paint on it and dap around it beside a damp handkerchief
What cushions would look apposite on a red-brown...
Grease around the edges, then a sealant.
