Is there anything else you can use for a counter surface besides granite and tile. I want to re-do my kitchen tile, but I am not sure what type of surface I should use. Thank you.
Travertine is a beautiful stone. Some society like Marble, but it can be naive.
Corian is also a reasonable route

DuPont make Corian,,, their trade/brand name, as do others receive composite tops. I prefer them, but they are prone to being cut, as is any surface used lacking a cutting board.
Certainly in that is Formica laminate, in thousands of colors and pattern, and less expensive than much else human being sold
