All my furniture is black in my livign room. Chair, couch dvd stand, mini blinds on window, and shelves on wall...ALLL black..i own hard wood floors, and my tv stand matches the oak color of the wood floor. i be thinking black and beige. My fiance wants to throw blue contained by. What do you think, light blue manila and black? yay or nay...i need some color ideas to throw within with the black and beige coordination to make it pop. i want to lighten the room up. I plan on buying fawn sheer curtains to go with the black blinds.
Hi...One of the great ways to pick color schemes is to go out into your garden or temperament and look at flowers, grasses and trees..and look at their schemes. There's not much that we as humans can really do to enhance the great idea's there. Take some tabloid color schemes and hit the bushes, And I almost guarantee you'll come up with the unfaultable plan in a nice garden setting or garden store. Enjoy.the real architect and designer doesn't own many false creations. It's also a nice way to pick-out clothes for ladies and guys. red is a great color to construct a room pop and goes with black. Also it can turn with beige... but may be too extreme for your soft spot. blue seems off to me newly my opinion.
Go next to blue.
The good thing roughly the color black is that it goes with anything.
Go beside blue or purple.
Or even pink.
Pink and black would be so cute.
Purple and black would be so cute.
But blue is good too.
Black goes beside any color.
Good luck in your decorating.
And blue sheer curtains for the living room would stir great.
Beige is too dull a color.
mint green walls
black furniture
beige trappings:
- tan canvas curtains
- suntan throw rug
- creme/tan combo for candles and nic nacs
...great color combo!
you could use red, but i think hot pink would be SUPER cool.
but if you dont want it to look too valentines dayish afterwards you could do something just like white consequently add in some hot pink accent. itd be intense. :] Red Would defanitly brightin up the room and look good with the light brown
blue would look good aslo
Even some yellow near black and beige
Lime Green aslo
HOPE THIS HELPS
Black and beige look OK together, but I don't recommend count any blue to that. Maybe some white or silver. Deep rich burgundy with the beige and black.
Bright colors will stand out, a bright blue, yellow, (I would choose hot pink, but I'm a single woman)
I don't think taupe would look good at all I reflect on your fiance is on to something! Black, beige and a blue (navy would be pretty) are excellent together. Classy.
play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the net, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search out by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most credible, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I would paint the room something like "practical beige" (# 6100) and afterwards throw in the blue accent next to one of these rugs:

You can also take a photo of your room & upload it to the makeover gallery on this website:

You can get color suggestions & they'll photoshop them onto your room so that you can obtain an idea of what it will look like.
I muse forest green or a deep burgandy would go better than blue. RED
Answers: I reason that would look good. My dining room is of that same color scheme, except for reading light blue we used a brighter blue. Im sure light would look good too though. Another worthy olor that goes really good near black is a deep red color. My bathroom is like that and the cabinet and accesories are wood. Also with the blue/tan idea, white curtains and accesories will pop out, its awesome!
you could walk for a creamy beige colour matt paint, match it beside curtains. black borders ie. skirting, white/cream ceiling so its not so bright, then, on a free wall, buy some canvas and attain smal pots of the blue colours she likes, on white canvas, do something similar to this and put it up on your free wall. that way, the blue comes in, but doesn't detract from your black/beige colour classification. its also some nice decor artwork and is a talking point for guests/ nice to look at.
