I'm about to tile my kitchen floor and there seem to be a major problem. The concrete floor is flush level beside my UPVC doors in the kitchen. If I put the tiles down the doors will not open or close. I dont come up with I can refit the doors higher.
What can i do?? I dont want to have to chip the concrete floor away as this seem too much of a hard job.

Any push for..pls Help
you are right you own a problem..
unfortunately it is one way or the other ..
I would suggest that lifting the door (and the undamaged frame with it) is the lesser of the two evils..
you can finish the floor tiling later reset the frame to suit so that the door clears
You have to shorten the doors, taking whatever is needed past its sell-by date the bottom. It's not unusual, it has to be done fairly commonly when carpet or tile is put in a room that that didn't enjoy it before. If you don't have a planer, later you can do it with a circular saw and a straight edge clamped to the door so your cut is straight. Use a fine-toothed finishing blade to form the cut to minimize chipping. Just cut off the bottom of the door. Remove the door, make a row where the cut needs to be, clamp a straightedge to it, and cut it bad with a circular saw.

Someone said you could not do this with a hollow-core or metal door. I disagree. With a hollow core door, you probably won't be adjectives all the way through the solid bottom that hollow doors own. If so, you'll just have to cement part of it back into the hollow bottom for stability.

For a metal door, in recent times use a metal-cutting blade - that's what they're made for...

Wear your safety glasses.
Answers:    The easiest solution is to remove the door and plane the bottom so it's no longer flush.
I agree with your first answer but...if the door is hollow core or metal this will not be possible. You may have to purchase a different door that can be cut down.
