What is the usual flash point temperature to avoid when adding scent to hand poured candles?
Answers:    It totally depends on what kind of wax you are using. Most scent grease companies will tell you their recommendations, though or the wax company can share you as well. The best company I've found is www.candlecocoon.com - their scents are really concentrated and hold a great throw. I only work with paraffin wax and I can relay you that if you put the oil in too soon it doesn't mix within properly. Also, additives like vybar and steric acid are of assistance in getting your fragrance to bind. My best advice would be to check beside your wax provider and then experiment on your own. It's more fun that way, too! Good luck!
