In my kitchen I have one of those awful table lamp things that is the long plastic tube article they have surrounded by schools and such, and I would similar to to replace it with something for a while nicer and less annoying that doesn't flicker... not top of the chain or anything but better then that. What adjectives would be involved in removing what I enjoy, will I need to hire a certified electrician or can I hold a family partaker who knows what he is doing? Any minister to would be wonderful, thank you!
Answers: Florescent lights are used in kitchens because they produce profoundly of light for amazingly little electricity. I see a lot of population putting in can lights at the moment, and they will work with the screw-in florescent bulbs that thieve the place of standard incadescent bulbs. They really sharpen up the kitchen and they're reasonably priced. You could install 6 - 12 can lights and run them bad the same power as the old-fashioned florescent. If you have an attic, it's particularly easy to do. If you don't hold an attic, you would have to do some ceiling repair after the fixtures be installed.
That depends on if you need to move the electric wiring in charge to have your up to date light fixture where on earth you want it. Just remove the cover on your florescent light to see where on earth wires come through the ceiling. Will probably have to saturate in a few holes where on earth it is attached, but is fairly confident to change out.
