I have a small living room and instead of trying to find small furniture, I bought a big rich red sofa and love seat and a rugged coffee table and squeezed them together so when I enjoy guests everyone gets to sit close like at a kitchen table. Its unbelievably cozy and even my male friends like it. I own large Picasso style paintings that serve it fit together. I downsized my knick-knack clutter and have a few larger favorites for accents. I built a replicated corner fire-place that is my entertainment center. All ready mades be way too big. I can shut the door on it and fool a few friends. For kitchen areas there are abundantly of great cafe style tables that have better seats and make a big impact within a small area. Best of luck! Answers: I just sold a place that had 600'. Everything will hold to do the job of more than one thing. Here are some links to a flick knife bed I love. It has storage underneath, no arms and is comfortable to sleep on. I threw in a sleeper ottoman for guests. There is a intertwine to a table that can also be used as a buffet or counter. We also hung our electronic stuff to free up floor space. Good luck!
