1 Main Color --?

Are you supposed to have one main color throughout your home? I saw this on t.v. up to that time.

Example - Kitchen; maybe dishes blue. Living room - maybe principal color in pictures blue. Bathroom - main color contained by shower curtain blue. ETC.

What is your opinion on this?

Thanks!
thats probably not a good hypothesis. u should keep colors in ur home similar but not like! that would be soooo boring. if ur scared of colors clashing just hold on to the main colors in the home on one and the same side of the color wheel. like blues and greens... I would engender each room whatever colors you close to. It's your house. I think having alike color in every room is booorrriiiinnng!!

I've always hear that you should choose three colors, one being a neutral and use variation of those throughout. For example, blue, green and white...a blue bedroom with light green accent, a white bathroom with navy or sage accent, ...Remember that variations don't mean like peas in a pod color...just something in alike basic family and tone. Most citizens don't follow this rule but end up having this type of structure anyway, just because they use colors that they like and most of them come across to blend well.
My house is mostly blues, greens and tans but I do have a reading light yellow kitchen and cinnamon accents contained by my living room. I also have brown accents surrounded by my blue bedroom. DO WHAT MAKES YOU FEEL GOOD! it makes your house ti together good.
ive be to some peoples houses like
this before and it make it look like
the house was planned all right before they
ever started. which is good... but sometimes
you find the feeling that it is all too matchy matchy
and you a moment ago feel anxious to mix it up a bit...
Answers:    It depends on your personality, but mostly you just want to make sure that your color organization and theme is consisitant throughout the room you are in. For example, you could enjoy a bedroom that is done in blue and kakhi and your kitchen could be done surrounded by reds. As long as the color and theme is consistant in the room you are contained by, you are good.

In my personal opinion, I come up with it's good to mix up your colors from room to room, otherwise it might get for a time bland and boring. Having your whole house in one color structure can get a little overpowering, not to mention would trademark me feel bored.
