I think that sounds awesome! You could get a funky slipcover and put it over or a nice fluffy rug. You could even put a curtain around the lower bunk so you could enjoy some private space. How about a TV across from the lower bunk? And to top it all bad, put holiday lights around the bunkbed and light up the scene.

Answers: Listen...you are only 19 and it depends what your financial situation is and what your scene is. I would honestly have to say aloud that the bunk bed is kinda lame.now the FUTON is an essential part of a young-looking adult...college attending guy. Its cool because if anyone is hanging out near you they can sit and chat while you are getting ready...or can be used as seating if you are playing games etc...additionally.I am sure you already own taken part of the American past time of "drinking/playing beer pong." If you havent afterwards you will see that the futon always makes a nice place for a friend to crash for the hours of darkness when they have had a few too tons! Try and see if you can trade your futon bunk bed for a regular futon...try craigslist.

My 21-yo son simply moved out 3 months ago, and he had this in his room (did not steal it with him). He kept the lower pulled out to the double bed size and threw all his verbs clothes on top. It only got cleared rotten if someone stayed over. It is either a futon or a bunk bed, not both and yes uncool time to grow up.
