I want to make slipcovers but can't pre-wash that amount of cloth so thought I would make them and merely dry clean them when they are dirty.
Answers:    The dry cleaning process won't shrink the material. If you want to shrink it, take it to a laundromat and put it within a large contraption with hot marine. Dry it well.

Personally I construe you'd be happier with something you can launder, because dry cleaning a slipcover is going to be thoroughly expensive.

But if you want to dry clean the slipcovers after you formulate them, there are dry cleaners that will dry verbs cotton. On the other hand, in attendance are dry cleaners who won't. You need to ask and brand certain they will dry verbs your fabric a bit than launder it.

Now that I read your question again, I chew over the answer you're looking for is, "The dry cleaning process will not shrink cotton. But make sure your dry cleaner will dry verbs, and not launder, your slipcovers. Dry cleaning will be very expensive for a slipcover, probably over $40."
You stipulation to prewash the fabric. Drycleaners simply dry clean fabric that need it and cotton does not. They would place it surrounded by their regular washer and dryer and it w/ill shrink. 100% cotton always does, unless you know that the stuff is already preshrunk from the manufacturer.
