I bought a hoodie from abercrombie and fitch. It is 90% cotton, 10% polyester. If i put it in heat up water and dry it for a long time, will I be capable of shrink it a size down?

Answers:    Not permanently. The polyester blend is the problem.. even simply that 10%. Drying it to death on big heat might result contained by it feeling smaller initially, but once you've worn it awhile it will resume it's size and shape. That's why the manufacturer add the poly... to prevent shrinkage.
And obviously, frequent washing/drying to shrink it is *a lot* of wear and tear on an otherwise contemporary item.

If you haven't washed it nonetheless, why not just exchange it for your size?
