I would like to know if boiling cotton clothes would attain them clean. I know it would eradicate any germs, but would it also clean them, if I didn't use any soap or detergent?
Does anyone own one of those "swivel sweepers"...
Answers:    First, according to the Federal Health Code, hose down that reaches 190 degree will sanitize anything. Water boils at 190, so yes; you can kill the germs by boiling your clothing.

Second, I have extremely sensitive skin, I broke out from Tide Free, Cheer Free and Gain Free, etc..... All the "Free" detergents are is Free of Perfumes. Most Proctor and Gamble, Johnson & Johnson and other most important manufactures of laundry detergent contains fillers, perfume, water, ammonium and formaldehyde (embalming fluid).

After sleeping surrounded by a hotel bed, or bed other than mine, I would be covered contained by red splotches. How embarrassing.

I wash my clothing in Baking Soda for years and have, dry starchy feeling clothing.

I suggest you do not boiling the cotton clothes. If you are washing them, you may make a payment the detergent, color bleach with the thaw out water. Let them contained by the sink around 30 minutes, rub them. Dirthy area will be removed. The heat should be warm. Heat will demage the cotton materials.
