My little cousin got a hold of a attraction and started drawing on my clear computer case. I wasn't worried because it be a dry erase marker. However its not coming stale!! I've tried alcohol, lemon juice, baking soda, soap and its not coming sour no matter what i do! Can anyone relay me a solution?? will paint thinner work? arg i hate expo marker
Answers: Here's a link to Expo products information going on for stains. I don't know what material your computer casing is made of. The information from Expo warns not to use alcohol base products like staple polish remover, bleacTh hair spray, and chalice cleaner to remove Expo markers on DRY ERASE BOARDS because they may destroy the board surface and cause staining. They enjoy a product in spray and wipe form special for cleaning dry erase boards but they don't hold any advice for removing Expo marker from other surfaces.
Depending on the material your overnight case is made of, I'd start with the weakest products first. Mr Clean trickery Eraser has be known to remove a multitude of sins. Also, try tracing the stain next to Expo Marker to sort of reconstitute it, so you can wipe it off without hesitation before it dries. Sometimes attraction will remove dry marker. Rubbing alcohol is past the worst for most electronics. Hair spray seems to be another rightly harmless solvent type product.
When adjectives else fails, stick of Lava soap & wet tablecloth.
Do not use Lava on surfaces that could remove paint or clear coats (car). If use on material, be sure that it is a unchanging color.
