Answers:    There are two types of bleaches and are both Oxydizing Agents:-

1. Chlorine - Great stain remover, used for bleaching stains off white fabric ( eg. Mold, red wine etc) - Not color safe, and is exceedingly damaging to the cloth.

2. Oxygen - Great whitener, color safe and reduced cloth damage. But alas not as worthy a destainer as Chlorine.

You can't have your cake & put away it too ~;-)

It has lots of chlorine within it, the chlorine does the whitening.
