in the rainfall is a lot of dirt.
Exhaust from cars, dust from the ground, perchance little animals, that's all coming down.
That's also why the atmosphere smells so clean after it rain...
Better re-wash your stuff

Answers:    The solely effect I find it has is that it wash out all smell of the wash powder or fabric softener if you use it and I hold noticed it leaves the wash a bit stiff
