When we bought our new couch, they told us it be stain resistant. My 2 yr. old proved them wrong! It's mostly apple liquid, but no matter how much I wipe next to wet cloth (which be the manufacturer's suggested way of cleaning) it doesn't come out. I tried soap once, and it lately made it worse! It always looks resembling there is a big showery spot!
Answers: I wet-clean with any number of upholstery cleaning solutions (depending upon the stain) and water-based extraction. My go-to cleaner for microfiber is an enzyme-based detergent. It's made specifically for protein base stains such as foods and body fluids. It also helps to agitate beside a microfiber brush. If I could pick only one stuff that I had to verbs, it would be microfiber; I have never have a stain that I can't remove in the several hundred a year that I do.
If you want to do this yourself, I'd recommend renting a hearth rug cleaning machine beside upholstery attachment (essentially a wet-vac), buying the upholstery shampoo at the same place, and capture a soft or ultra-soft bristle toothbrush to agitate the worst spots.
If the apple juice stain is unremitting, a sodium percarbonate cleaner such as Oxiclean will remove the organic stains.
"Soap" is different than detergent. Do not use laundry detergent, as it have optical brighteners that are not good for upholstery.
