My son works in the hot sun every light of day and even after washing his clothes surrounded by hot water and strong soap an odor still remains, its not if truth be told a sweat smell but it is from sweating.
Answers: I understand, my fiancee have the same smell to his clothes when he worked out surrounded by the sun. Try adding a cup of vinegar to your laundry along near your detergent. You can also try plain cola, I've heard that works. But I've single tried vinegar. Somehow it kills the smell and doesn't donate any vinegary smell behind. And when it's space heater if you can dry his clothes in the sun it help, too.

They have Tide near Febreeze now, conceivably that'd work.
