Basically a house fire has disappeared some very nice newborn clothes of various fabric smoke damaged and I would close to to see if anybody can suggest a cleaning product or technique that can try and restore these items to a usable standard :(
Answers:    I'm very sorry to read that you, or someone you know, have had a house fire.

You could try wash the clothes in cold hose down with laundry detergent and one tablespoon of pure vanilla extract (not the synthetic vanilla, the valid pure vanilla).

If that doesn't work you could try tri-sodium phosphate (TSP). TSP is caustic, so you have need of to be very particular, read the label and label sure the label say it can be used on fabric. Use the TSP and household cleaner together, afterwards rinse with clear sea. Test the fabric first, the TSP bleaches some fabric. Try your local hardware or home improvement stores to see if they fetch TSP. If not, call your local Red Cross, ask for Disaster Services, and ask them where on earth to get TSP.

You might also check around to see if any local professional cleaners can verbs the baby clothes.

Take strictness!
You're better off buying foreign ones.
