I have pet urnine smell contained by my room rug. Used the hot steamer carpet cleaner and the detergent that comes near it. It didn't work to get the smell out.lone made it worse. Do you think that vinegar contained by the hot water cistern of the carpet cleaner would product a difference? I am about arranged to roll the rug up and burn it! I am so aggravated with this. Any assistance or other suggestions will be appreciated.
Answers: yes the vinegar in the steam cleaner instead of the regular soap you put within there will work very well it will take the smell away.you might own to go over it twice but the smell will be gone.
