Saturate the stained areas near plain white vinegar and let it sit on the stain an hour or so. Then launder as usual. The stains will be gone, and any unforgettable sweat odor disappears also.

bleach or the vinegar will work near cotton. If your t-shirt is polyester or a polyester blend, try hydrogen peroxide. The stuff sold in the drug store for cleaning out cuts and scrape.

I make my husband squirt his white shirts pits next to vinegar after he wears them because I get tired fighting the pale pits of doom. Its best to treat them as they happen anyway so... this works for us.
