Steam Cleaning Carpets - Does it really work? I have two pugs that own completely ruined a back bedroom mat...
I have two pugs that own completely ruined a back bedroom mat area, we did not realize til closing week that the dogs had be "going" in that room, so we cleaned it near just regular spray mat cleaner, but we are thinking of buying a carpet steamer. The stains we did find out, but I'm wondering if the steamer will get out the smell?? How frozen are they to use also? Thank you!
Answers: Yes it works. I have the hoover adjectives terain. It works great. My parents had elder dogs with incontanance issues and it worked to carry the smell and the gross feeling out of their runner.
You could 'test' it in a couple of ways first if you considered necessary to. Alot of times, your local big grocery store (Brunos, Kroger, Publix, etc) will rent steam cleaners to the public. They are not typically difficult to use and come with instructions and recommendation as well. They usually impart you a few days to use it and offer a choice of products, including deodorizers, along with it. Or you could other call the professionals, resembling Stanley Steemer, etc, which often times proffer many-room specials, so you could quite confidently get your together house cleaned for around $99 on a good special. But logically, you probably won't find a steamer on the market that's as apposite as the pros use, but you could always ask for their recommendation as well, and that could be as cheap and time positive as a phone call. :)
