Smoking within workplace, ugh!? My husband works at a small business where they fasten smoke...
My husband works at a small business where they fasten smoke all the work afternoon inside (including the owner) He does not smoke so hes always grossed out and sick plus he comes home and stinks so desperate even his laptop case. Is near any ways that he can survive at work like this. Do they net something to freshed a place up or get smoke out?
Why has not a soul suggested getting an air filter? Get a dutiful powerful one, and split the cost with the boss. Problem pretty much solved.
And -- no means of access is passive smoking nearly as discouraging for you as actually smoking. Not even close. However, if you are surrounded by a room that is ALWAYS smoky, due to others other lighting up, it will indeed be bad for you.
smoking is terrible and this may be hurting his lungs by recycled smoke. have him bring it up near the owner(even though he smokes too) and ask him if he can do something. if he is understanding, he may do something. tolerate his entire workplace know that smoking hurts them and that they smell awful.
if people don't listen, own your husband talk to other workers who don't smoke (if here are any) get together. two individuals are better than one.
lastly, if it becomes toobig of a problem, your husband may want to quit. this post is risking his health. the smoking is effecting his work and should be stopped. he clearly deserves a better post.

Move to Ohio, we are practically a smoke free State, thank saintliness. I worked in a State Office, and have to put up with equal thing until my concluding 10 years there, past I retired. I am suprised I don't have lung cancer. Even the bar here are smoke free.
No, wretchedly they don't. It is disgusting that any workplace allows this. I suggest that your husband do one of two things:
a. Complain to someone higher up who may own the authority to stop this nonsense.
or
b. Find another work. If the problem is that intolerable and the above does not work, I suggest he find another job.

Answers: Incense will counteract this. Do you regard as his co-workers will tolerate it just approaching he puts up with their smoke. Passive smoking is probably worse healthwise than smoking. What are the vocation laws resembling in your country? In Australia he would be seeing a attorney.
