Smelling burnig plastic? I often smell a woozy burning plastic smell in here within my...

I often smell a woozy burning plastic smell in here within my computer room. The only entry electrical is my lap top...which is undoubtedly ok since I am using it right now.

What could it be...or am I only just losing my mind?

Answers:    no you are not losing your mind....computers have abundantly of plastic parts inside them (i.e. the circuit boards, etc. ) and they do get pretty thaw out when the computer is on...ergo the burning plastic smell....I wouldn't worry too much in the region of it, it is common and usually doesn't attain warm adequate to ignite.
